Is balance achievable or another mirage in our consumerist culture? How to create "Whole Families." Strategies for maintaining your physical and mental wellbeing while working in or out of the home (or both).

The goal of this session is to challenge our perceptions of worklife balance and identify enablers to sustaining strong, healthy families and communities. This session will help you define "balance" and align the various components of your life including: 1) physical wellbeing; 2) mental wellbeing; 3) career and work fulfillment; 4) community and social involvement while promoting 5) family nurturing. Whether you are working in or out of the home (or both), this session will help you to consider practical strategies for negotiating tradeoffs that help you to maximize life fulfillment. Session participants will be asked to identify share their best practices on achieving "whole families".

Me Time! Motherhood and the Art of Living Well

This interactive workshop will challenge, encourage and inspire participants to optimize their health and wellness by making sensible and intuitive choices.

  • Clarify myths and misconceptions about nutrition, fitness, and overall wellness
