America's Promise Alliance
Building on the legacy of founder General Colin Powell, America’s Promise is the nation’s largest multi-sector collaborative dedicated to the well being of children. Its goal is to improve the lives of 15 million at-risk youth through the power of the “five promises” young people need for success in life – caring adults, safe places, a healthy start, effective education and opportunities to help others. Mocha Moms chapters throughout the country are working to see to it that more children are touched by those important support systems.
