Delaware Valley Chartering Ceremony

On Sunday, May 4, 2025, the Delaware Valley Chapter became the first chapter in Mocha Moms, Inc. history to have an official chartering ceremony! Congratulations to the Chartering President, Akilah C. Bernard and the charter members on successfully completing the chartering journey and executing a beautiful ceremony and reception. The event was the epitome of sisterhood, support, service and excellence. The charter ceremony was officiated by Mocha Cheli English-Figaro, Co-Founder and President Emerita. Other Mocha officials in attendance included Mocha Vetta Cash - National At Large Network Director (Chapter Mentor), Mocha Tracy Gill, Northeast Regional Director (Chapter Sponsor), and Mocha Nadia Mondésir, NY State Coordinator.

The 11 charter members were initiated and 5 chapter officers were installed: Akilah Bernard, President; Dawnmarie Hackett -Clemmons, Vice President, Eleesia Wells, Treasurer; Domonique Wisher, Chair, Membership & Hospitality; and Irene Lovette, Chair, Community Service & Fundraising. The chapter is overjoyed to have welcomed 3 new members since chartering and looks forward to continuing to grow as a chapter.
