Patrice Harrison

National Director of Programs and Strategic Initiatives

Patrice Harrison is a nonprofit leader, marketing and community engagement professional, entrepreneur, and passionate advocate for women, youth, and families. With more than 25 years of experience spanning nonprofit leadership, healthcare, community engagement, program development, marketing, volunteer management, and event strategy, Patrice has built her career around creating meaningful programs, developing leaders, strengthening communities, and connecting families with resources and opportunities.

Patrice’s journey with Mocha Moms, Inc. started in 2018 with the North Fulton County Chapter in Georgia and continued in 2021 with the San Fernando Valley Chapter in California. Her journey is rooted in sisterhood, service, and her belief that mothers thrive when they have a strong community around them. Most recently in 2025, she served as Co-President of the San Fernando Valley Chapter, helping lead a period of tremendous growth, growing the chapter to over 200 members. During her leadership, she has helped expand member programming, community engagement, partnerships, retreats, educational opportunities, and experiences designed to support mothers and families throughout the San Fernando Valley.

Her passion for developing women and creating platforms for change extends beyond Mocha Moms. In 2013, Patrice founded the Miss Black International Ambassador (MBIA) pageant & Ambassadors of Change Inc. and served as its Executive Director for 10 years. Created to provide Black women with a platform centered on leadership, service, advocacy, and social impact, MBIA grew from Patrice’s vision into a global pageant platform celebrating Black women creating meaningful change in their communities and beyond. Through her nonprofit leadership, she has developed programs and conferences, overseen staff and volunteers, cultivated strategic partnerships, coordinated large-scale initiatives, and created opportunities for youth and families to lead and serve within their communities.

Professionally, Patrice has spent more than 15 years serving seniors and families through healthcare, hospice, senior services, marketing, sales, and community outreach. Her experience includes leadership in hospice volunteer services, where she managed over 100 volunteers and interns, along with extensive experience in program development, relationship building, healthcare marketing, community partnerships, and family support.

An entrepreneur and experience creator, Patrice is also the Founder of She Reigns Travel, specializing in group travel, retreats, cruises, celebrations, and curated experiences. She is also the creator of The Mamager Life, a faith-centered platform built around “Grace for the Juggle” and inspired by the real-life journey of mothers balancing marriage, motherhood, careers, personal dreams, and the dreams of their children. Through the platform, Patrice encourages mothers to extend grace to themselves, remain grounded in faith, and recognize that pursuing their own purpose does not have to end when motherhood begins.
